The Mitchell Brothers — Jim Mitchell (1943–2007) and his younger brother Artie Mitchell (1945–1991) — were influential (and controversial) figures in the American adult entertainment industry, particularly in San Francisco during the late 1960s through the 1980s.
They helped transition pornography from underground “loops” and stag films into a more mainstream, feature-length “porno chic” phenomenon during the Golden Age of Porn.
